Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the lead fitting work of the ultrasonic wave transmitter and receiver formed by cutting into stripes, by using a flexible print lead having plural conductive parts. CONSTITUTION:Flexible print lead 8 is inserted between positive electrode 7 of ultrasonic wave conversion element 1 and packing material 2 and is caused to adhere to them by an adhesive. Next, after lead 8 is hardened, element 1 is so cut off that conductive part 9 of print lead 8 may be placed in the approximate center of each ultrasonic wave conversion element 1'. Since negative electrode 6 is cut off also in this case, lead wire 6' is soldered in the longitudinal direction on electrode 6 to lead out the lead. Thus, since plural conductive parts 9 of print lead 8 are fixed to individual elements 1', the lead fitting work is completed by cutting element 1 into elements 1'. In this manner, the lead fitting work can be facilitated.
