Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled nozzle which has a high thermal shock resisting property and a high corrosion resistance, by joining a main body of the nozle made of a material having a high thermal shock resisting property and a front end tip of the nozzle made of a material which is excellent in corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:This nozzle is composed of an upper part 7 and a lower part 8. A front end tip of the lower part 8 is made of a material which is excellent in corrosion resistance against molten metals, such as oxides of one or >2 kinds of silica, alumina, magnesia, zirconia, chromia, and calcia, boron nitride, and silicon nitride in combination. Moreover, the upper part 7 is made of a material which has a high thermal shock resisting property, such as graphitic material, alumina-graphitic material, mullite-graphitic material and melted silica.
