Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of ignition coil in such a way of connecting two primary coils to each other in series, connecting the both ends of this serious of one pair of driving transistors, and connecting one pair of plugs to the secondary coil, while connecting heavy duty diodes to each of those plugs. CONSTITUTION:With the primary coils 71a and 71b of an ignition coil 7 connected in series, their both ends are connected to driving transistors 4-1, 4-4, while the both ends of the secondary coil 72 are connected to plugs 6-1, 6-4, and heavy duty diodes 9-1, 9-4 are connected to the plugs 6-1, 6-4. When the transistor 4-1 is interrupted, after a current is supplied to the primary coil 71a of the ignition coil 7, positive high voltage is induced at the output terminal C of the secondary coil 72, and the first cylinder is ignited by discharge from the plug 6-1. Then, when the trasistor 4-4 is interrupted, positive high voltage is induced at the output terminal D of the secondary coil 72, and the fourth cylinder is ignited.
