Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase energy of induction dischrage, by delay current discharge of capacitors by the inductance component of charging coils. CONSTITUTION:When voltage is impressed on a first and a second charging coils 1, 2 after starting of engine, a first and a second capacitors 6, 7 are charged via diodes 4, 5, 8. Further, when a positive voltage is developed in trigger coil 3 at the ignition timing of engine and thyristor 9 is triggered, the thyristor 9 is energized so that charges of the first and the second capacitors 6, 7 are discharged to the primary side of ignition coil 11 and resultantly ignition spark is produced at the secondary side. Here, energy of capacity discharge and that of induction discharge are both applied to the secondary side of ignition coil 1, so that stable and strong ignition spark can be produced.
