Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve thermal responsiveness and the tensile strength of lead wires by providing an insulation plate held by plural mounting legs to a heat sensitive sensor of a temp. sensor to be mounted to a gas heater or the like and securing lead wires to the hollow pipe terminals of the insulation plate. CONSTITUTION:A temp. sensor 3 is disposed to the center of the heat shielding cylinder of, for example, a gas heater. A heat sensitive head 13 consists of a sheet made of stainless steel, and holds the bulging part 12 of a guide shaft 8 by means of plural pawls 14 provided to the bottom end. A thermistor 17 is brazed to the head 13. An insulation plate 20 consisting of alumina, silicon nitride, mica or the like is held by a sensor fitting 19 having the plural mounting legs 192 welded to the head 13, and is provided with terminals 21 consisting of hollow pipes of metal having a resembling coefft. of thermal expansion. Sensor lead wires 18 and lead-out lead wires 22 are inserted into the terminals 21, and these are stacked and spot-welded. The transmission of the heat of the head 13 to be shaft 8 and the plate 20 is minimized by a clearance 16 and the legs 192, and further the responsiveness is improved by the use of the thermistor 17 of a small size.
