Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress heat conduction to a temperature-sensitive element from other parts by fixing the temperature-sensitive element in a temperature measurement hole formed at the lower part of the rotor of an ultra-centrifuge through a porcelain pipe having excellent thermal insulation, and bringing the signal line of the temperature- sensitive element into contact with a supporting internal can. CONSTITUTION:At the lower part of the rotor 3 of an ultra-centrifuge, a temperature measurement hole 4 is formed, and a temperature-sensitive element 10 fitted to a supporting member 8 is inserted into the temperature measurement hole 4. The supporting member 8 has a supporting internal can 11, an internal heat insulating can 12, an internal reflecting can 14, and an external heat insulating can 15, which are assembled while thermally insulated from one another with heat insulating spacers 16. At the center part of the supporting internal can 11, a supporting arm 9 made of a porcelain pipe is fitted at right angles and the temperature-sensitive element 10 is fixed atop of it. The signal line 18 of the temperature-sensitive element 10 forms a loop part 19 in the supporting internal can 11 and external heat conducted through the signal line 18 is radiated in the supporting can 11 to prevent it from being conducted to the temperature- sensitive element 10.
