Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable high performance, high reliability and miniaturization by forming spiral conductor patterns with the conductor width, conductor interval and conductor thickness of predetermined dimensions respectively onto an insulating substrate and shaping magnetic substances to the upper and lower sections of the patterns. CONSTITUTION:The spiral conductor patterns 2 with the 20-200mum conductor width, the 0.5-100mum conductor intervals and the 15-200mum conductor thickness are shaped onto the surfaces such as both surfaces of the insulating substrate 1, and connected by a through-hole 3 so that the directions of currents are made the same. The insulating substrate is coated with adhesives 5 such as an epoxy-nitril rubber group, and the magnetic substance sheets 4 of an iron-nickel alloy, Mn-Zn group ferrite, etc. are bonded on the substrate. The magnetic substance may be applied in a shape that the powdered one is mixed with adhesives or formed through electrolytic plating, etc. A flexible heatproof film such as a polyimide film is preferable as the insulating substrate 1. Accordingly, the small-sized coil having large inductance and small DC resistance is obtained.
