Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a titled swiveling tower device which permits effective use of time without stopping casting work by so constituting the same that the joint part of a molten steel ladle and the joint part provided to a molten steel ladle support part of a swiveling arm can be automatically connected and disconnected during swiveling of the swiveling arm. CONSTITUTION:The 1st joint part 7 of a molten steel ladle support part 5 and the 2nd joint part 8 of a molten steel ladle 6 are connected by the command from a control room. Next, in this state, an inert gas is supplied to the molten steel in the ladle 6 to stir the molten steel, after which the molten steel in the ladle 6 is teemed from a gate 9 into a well 30 provided right thereunder by the control from the control room. Upon completion of the teeming of the molten steel, the gate 9 is reclosed and the joint part 7 and joint part 8 of automatic connector for piping and wiring are disconnected. Next, an arm 3 is swiveled to replace the emptied ladle 6 to the opposite side; at the same time, the ladle 6 which has already been put with molten steel and is held still is replaced to above the well 30.
