Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the limit operation to a small input signal sufficient and to enable the operation at a small current through one current source, by the constitution of a limiter circuit of an AM stereo receiver at one stage for high gain and making all at the limiter circuit to the same level. CONSTITUTION:An identifying signal is picked up from a phase detecting output signal to a terminal 41 with an LPF31, and the signal is applied to a limiter circuit 32. The base and collector of trasistors (TRs) Q1, Q2 of the circuit 32 are in cross connection, a constant current source 47 is connected to the emitter, a pair of TRs Q3, Q4 are connected between the TRsQ1, Q2 and a power supply Vcc, and the identification signal is inputted to the base of the TRQ3. A positive feedback loop is formed to the TRsQ3, Q4 with the TRsQ1, Q2 of the circuit 32 and a high gain is obtained with one stage and limit operation is made with a small input signal. One pulse is outputted per one potential variance of the circuit 32 at an exclusive logical circuit 33, and a display driving circuit 53 is operated via a Schmitt circuit 34 and current Miller circuits 51, 52.
