Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the wind selection of light contaminants by a constitution wherein air is flowed transversally in the hopper in the device in which the grain elevated by a bucket elevator is introduced into a grain reserving tank through the charging hopper.
CONSTITUTION: When the grain is charge into the charging port of the bucket elevator 7, the grain elevated by the elevator 7 is flowed into the inlet section 11 of the charging hopper 9 through a discharging gutter 8 and is transferred traversally by an uniformly distributing screw 10. When the amount of this transfer has become full, an opening and closing gutter receiver 13 is pushed and opened outwardly against the balance weight 16 by the pressure of the grain, the grain is supplied onto a belt conveyor 22 through a dropping port 21 and is flowed into respective reserving tanks 1. In this case, a fan 4 is operated properly to send wind and thereby enabling to reserve the grain without steaming the grain containing high moisture. A suction fan 18 is operated also and the sucked air is sent transversally in the hopper 9 through a shutter 18 and thereby effecting the wind selection of the light contaminants.
