Abstract
PURPOSE: To discharge grains smoothly by providing an opening part with a shutter to discharge grains from an upper transfer conveyor to a scattering device.
CONSTITUTION: A shutter 7 provided at a discharge port 17a of an upper transfer duct 15 is opened, and grains are made to flow down from the port 17a and scattered in a storage chamber 2 by a scattering device 16. Scattered grains are made to flow down a drying chamber 4a, and accumulated in a grain-collecting part 3 after heated by the hot blast of a burner 7. They are then conducted into the lower part of a grain-raising cylinder 12, and again made to flow down from the port 17a after brought through conveyors 13 and 14. After they are repeatedly heated in this process to be dried up to a fixed moisture rate, the shutter 17 is closed, and grains conducted by the conveyor 14 is introduced into a chest 21 of a raised-grain discharge machine 20 via an intake hole 21a, and stored in a tank 27 from a grain- discharge cylinder 23.
