Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure a periodical cleaning for an exhaust air duct by adapting a grain drier to open an air intake of the exhaust air duct jointly to blow off dust settled and accumulated on every operation to take out grains to the outside after the completion of the drying work.
CONSTITUTION: Hot blast from a burner B is passed through grains flowing down from a right and a left hot blast chamber 1 in a flow-down passage 2 to take off their moisture and dust, and introduced into an exhaust air chamber 3 to be exhausted to the outside by an exhaust fan F in the backside. When an operation lever 11 is drawn after completion of grain drying, a shutter lid 9 is opened by a spring 10 to discharge grains issued from a grain lift 7 to the outside through a taking-out cylinder 8. Meanwhile, another shutter lid 5 is opened by a spring 12 to introduce the open air by the exhaust fan F, and settled and accumulated dust is discharged to the outside at one sweep by the generated air current from the front toward the backside along the bottom 3a of the exhaust air duct 3.
