Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform an inexpensive and precise measurement by means of a simple constitution, by a method wherein a load detector, located at a lower part of an inner cylinder, detects a change in a buoyancy of a buoyancy-detecting outer cylinder with bottom to measure a liquid level. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 9 is hung down from a base part 5, a hollow outer cylinder 11, whose bottom is closed off, for detecting a buoyancy is positioned outside the inner cylinder 9, and a bottom part 10 of the outer cylinder 11 and the lower end of the inner cylinder 9 are connected to a load cell 12.
