Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the plane pressure of a forcibly inserted rubber directly and simply by a method wherein two holes are installed at the outer drum of a forcibly inserted rubber bush and a pressure liquid is applied from a hole and further, a leak of the pressure liquid from the other hole is detected. CONSTITUTION:A liquid pressure in a conduit 4 is gradually raised by actuating a pump 5. When the liquid pressure of the conduit 4 is small, a small hole 2 is sealed with a forcibly inserted rubber 1c, as a result, the small hole 2 and a small hole 3 are sealed with each other. When the liquid pressure of the conduit 4 is raised gradually, then, the liquid pressure from the small hole 2 forms shortly a bypass leak passage in a contact plane to an outer drum 1a of the forcibly inserted rubber 1c between the small hole 2 and the small hole 3 and a liquid begins to leak from the small hole 3. The liquid pressure at the moment the leak starts is measured by means of pressure measuring means 6, 7, 8 and the pressure at this time is made a plane pressure of the forcibly inserted rubber 1c.
