Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate automatic cutting at a gate part of a molded product and prevent the injection pressure from lowering and defective molding, by inserting a runner bushing having a number of nozzle-shaped injection holes into a runner hole.
CONSTITUTION: After a molded product 7 is injected and molded in a cavity 8 of an injection mold having a runner bushing 20 inserted in a runner hole 12 of a movable mold 4. The bushing 20 having a number of nozzle-shaped injection holes 21, an attachment plate 5 and a receiving plate 6 are opened and raised upwardly from the mold 4, and a chip 23 so connected with the molded product 7 as to easily be cut owing to the existence of small injection holes 21 is moved upwardly together with a runner lock pin 13 so as to be cut from the product 7 at the gate part 22. When a heater is provided at the gate part 22, the cutting is more easily carried out. Becuase that a sectional area of the gate part is relarively large, injection pressure does not lower and any sink mark or short-shot does not occur.
