Abstract
PURPOSE: To adapt a molding machine properly to the prolonged setting period of time of a thermosetting resin and eliminate the stand-by time of an injection device by a method wherein a plurality of mold devices placed on rails constituting a closed circuit are sequentially moved and retracted from an injection position.
CONSTITUTION: The plurality of mold devices 3aW3z are placed on the rails 1a, 1b', 1a', 1b which constitute a closed circuit. At a mold opening and closing station A, the mold 3a is opened and a required insert and the like are fitted. On the other hand, at a mold-clamping and injection station B, a thermoplastic resin is injected into other mold 3b from the injecting device 26. Then, the mold devices on the rails are advanced respectively by one point clockwise by operating transfer cylinders 30, 30' so that the mold device 3z is located at the station A and the mold device 3a is located at the station B, followed by the same oprations as described above. In addition, the transfer of the mold from the rail 1b to the rail 1a is performed by using pallets 28 provided with auxiliary rails 29.
