Abstract

The tungsten filament of the electrode coated with the electron emission subsistance 5 has the cold resistance or the electric resistance at 30 deg.C of 0.8-1.8OMEGA. Consequently sufficient electron can be emitted from the electron emission subsistance resulting in the facilitation of the start of discharge of the fluorescent lamp and the prevention of the blackening phenomena.
