Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the elution test accurately and speedily by a method wherein the tester is provided with a container containing a liquid under test and a tank used to heat an auxiliary liquid for testing purposes with a built-in tank for keeping the liquid under test at the specified temperature and a means for heating the auxiliary liquid. CONSTITUTION:A heat retaining tank 14 for keeping the liquid under test is installed on an operating panel 12 of the elution tester, and a container 16 for putting a liquid 18 under test is contained in the tank. In addition, a heating tank 40 for keeping the auxiliary liquid for testing purposes, made of a transparent material such as glass is attached to the rear side of the tank 14 for keeping the liquid in a one body. The auxiliary liquid 42 for testing purposes has been preheated up to a certain temperature and kept at prescribed temperature by a heater 44 within a heating tank 40. Whenever the liquid 18 is extracted, the exactly same amount of the liquid is supplied to the container 16. In this case, because the liquid 42 newly supplied is kept at the same temperature as that of the liquid 18, no temperature change due to such re-supply occurs. Thus an accurate speedy elution test can always be made.
