Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the rise-up time up to the constant temperature by a method wherein a reaction vessel located in the position where a sample and a reagent are separately injected is positively heated to a temperatur higher than he constant temperature of a reaction tank as a whole. CONSTITUTION:A pair of ports 9 for the insertion of heaters are provided in the upper wall 4 of a reaction tank 1 radially in such a manner that reaction vessels positioned A-K are sandwiched between the ports. Then heaters 10 for selective heating purposes are inserted into the ports in the position where a sample and a reagent are separately injected, depending on the methods for analysis. The heater 10 is allowed to have a higher temperature than that of a thermostatic heater 8 so that a liquid for test of which temperature has been reduced because of the injection of the sample and reagent is quickly raised up to the predetermined reaction temperature. A support 11 is firmly attached to the center of a table 7 and extended downwardly along the centers of the reaction tank 1 and the heater 8. The support 11 is linked with a motor 14 through gears 12, 13, the motor being used to turn the table 7 to transfer the reaction vessel 6 in the circumferencial direction. In so doing, becuase the heater 10 is inserted into the port for separate injection, the rise-up time of the temperature in the reaction vessel can be shortened.
