Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively incinerate scrap rubber tyres and as well as obtain hot water utilizing after-heat by a method wherein there are provided a hot water tank, a means for blasting the air to nozzles provided over a furnace wall, and a opening and closing device for a bottom plate to be opened and closed after the incineration. CONSTITUTION:The tyres are automatically thrown in by a roller conveyor. The walls of a main body of incineration furnace are doubly constructed of an outer wall 30 and an inner wall 31 between which the hot water tank 32 is provided therearound. There are provided longitudinal blast tubes 35, over the inner wall respectively facing to which are provided a large number of blast nozzles 36. The air is induced to the center of a combustion chamber 5 to burn rubber tyres. The bottom plate is divided into two pieces and automatically operated to be opened and closed at the finish of incineration to discharge the residue.
