Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively incinerate scrap rubber tyres by a method wherein the bottom plate provided at the lower part of the main body of incineration furnace is automatically opened and closed in accordance with the counted number of a photoelectric detector installed in the middle of a roller conveyor throwing rubber tyres in the incineration furnace.
CONSTITUTION: At the lower part of the main body of incineration furnace is provided the bottom plate 43 connected through arms 42, shafts 41, reduction gears 51 and 48 with a motor 46 which is controlled in accordance with the counted number of the photoelectric detector 26 installed in the middle of the roller conveyor 24 throwing the rubber tyres 15 in the incineration furnace. According to the method described above, because the bottom plate 43 is automatically opened and closed by means of driving the motor 46, the worker needs no labor for the bottom plate operation and the labor saving is realized.
