Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the flying scattering of a dangerous material to the outside of a laboratory by simple apparatuses, by using a front room having an opening communicating with the outside air additionally provided at the laboratory with an air expelling apparatus and a supply air purifying apparatus between the front room and the laboratory, and improving the airtightness of a door between the front room and the laboratory.
CONSTITUTION: A front room 2 is additionally provided at a laboratory 1, and a supply air purifying apparatus 10 is equipped between the front room 2 and the laboratory 1. The airtightness of a door 4 between the front room 2 and the laboratory 1 is increased. An opening 11 for admitting the outside air into the front room 2 is provided at a door 5 between the front room 2 and a dressing room 3. An opening 12 is further provided at a door 6 of the dressing room 3. Air is expelled from the laboratory 1 through an exhaust air purifying apparatus 21 and an exhauster 22. The outside air is then introduced through the openings 12 and 11 into the front room 2 and then the supply air purifying apparatus 10 into the laboratory 1. The pressure drop during the passage of the air through the supply air purifying apparatus 10 permits the laboratory 1 to be kept at a negative pressure at all times.
