Abstract

PURPOSE: A composition for powder coating compound providing a film having smoothness and gloss, having improved stability of powder, comprising a specific polyepoxy compound and a cyclic iminoether compound.
CONSTITUTION: The desired composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. polyepoxy compound having two or more oxirane groups in the molecule and a softening point 40W180°C and (B) 1W50pts.wt. cyclic iminoether compound [e.g., 1,2-bis(2- oxazinyl)ethane, etc.] shown by the formula [n is 2 or 3; l is 1 or 2; R is organic group with (l+1) valence].
EFFECT: Having improved stability of powder and blocking resistance, being handled easily since curing reaction will not occur quickly during blending in molten state. Since the composition flows fully before setting, a film having improved smoothness, weather resistance, flexing resistance, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance is obtained.
