Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the operational management of a water-disposal system while inhibiting the corrosion of a carriage pipe, by mixing a separated liquid, which is generated by washing and concentrating organic sludge, with an effluent generated by dewatering the sludge, and returning neutralized purified water to the water-disposal system.
CONSTITUTION: A system for purifying an effluent generated by dewatering sludge is constructed by a water-washing device 1, a preconcentrating device 2, a pH- adjusting device 3, a freeze-thawing vessel 4, a dehydrator 5 and a mixing vessel 6. A dewatering effluent (e) from the dehydrator 5 is neutralized with a separated liquid (b) having a large alkalinity from the preconcentrating device 2 in the mixing vessel 6, and the neutralized water is returned to a water-disposal system (d). In a sewage-disposal plant, if the organic sludge is the primary precipitating excess sludge mixture of primary precipitating sludge in a primary sedimentation pool with excess sludge after treated in an aeration vessel, the separated liquid is one separated by a centrifugal separator, for insrance, and having pH6.8 and BOD350ppm, and the effluent is one of pH3 and BOD1300ppm obtained by dewatering pH-adjusted concentrated sludge in a freezing method.
