Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a synchronizing detection circuit which stably operates against fading or the like, by picking up an injection carrier signal for single side band signal detection from a carrier detection BPF in an AFC loop including a reference oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A signal received from an antenna ANT is converted into an intermediate frequency signal with a local oscillation signal of a local oscillator 3 and given to a synchronizing detection circuit 6 via an IF amplifier 5. On the other hand, this intermediate frequency signal is given to a phase comparator 11 via a carrier detecting BPF9 to be phase-compared with an oscillation signal of a reference oscillator, this compared output is applied to the local oscillator 3 via a low-pass filter 12 as an AFC voltage for known AFC operation. Thus, a stable carrier signal is obtained at the output of the carrier detecting BPF9, and this carrier signal is applied to the synchronizing detection circuit 6 as a single side band signal detection carrier signal via a limiter 13.
