Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the step-out by comparing the phase between the reception signal and the output signal of the voltage control oscillator and then providing the function which blocks the differential frequency between the reception signal and the interference wave to the filter circuit when the phase synchronization is secured by adding the result of the above mentioned phase comparison to the oscillator via the filter circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The reception wave from input terminal 10 is applied to phase comparator 13 via band pass filter circuit 11 and amplifier circuit 12 featuring the limiter and AGC functions. In addition, the output signal of VCO14 is applied to comparator 13 to cause the phase difference signal at comparator 13. The phase difference signal is then converted into the DC voltage through loop filter circuit 15' and applied to VCO14 via amplifier circuit 16. Thus the oscillation frequency is controlled toward the direction where the phase synchronization is applied, and the step-out is caused easily when the level of the reception wave is low. In this connection, the parallel T-type filter circuit which blocks the differential frequency between the reception signal frequency and the interference frequency is used for filter 15', thus preventing occurrence of the step-out.
