Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a carrier-to-noise power ratio (C/N), by detecting a phase error between an output of an injection synchronizing oscillator (ILO) and an FM signal, and providing it to a tuning circuit. CONSTITUTION:An FM signal 1 is divided into FM signals 7, 8 by a distributing circuit 6, and one FM signal 8 is supplied to a synchronizing detector (PSD)11. The other FM signal 7 is supplied to an ILO4, and the ILO4 outputs an FM signal 5, synchronizing with the FM signal 7. The FM output signal 5 is supplied to the PSD11 through a limiter 9, is detected synchronously with the FM signal 8 from the distributing circuit 6, and as for the FM signal 7, a phase error ocurring at the time of passing through a tuning circuit 2 of the ILO4 is detected. This detected signal 12 is amplified by a loop filter 13, also its unnecessry noise component is removed, and said signal is negative-fed back to the tuning circuit 2 of the ILO4, and as a result, the ILO4 follows the input FM signal 7 and synchronizes with it, holding its narrow band characteristic.
