Abstract
1506687 Ghost signal canceller SONY CORP 23 June 1976 [1 July 1975] 26161/76 Heading H4L In a ghost signal canceller in which an amplitude modulated signal, Fig. 6A, including an undesired signal delayed by time T 0 from a desired signal is supplied to a detector circuit 28, Fig. 9, a carrier signal, Fig. 6 F, of the same frequency as that of the carrier signal of the amplitude modulated signal and delayed in phase by the time T 0 is produced, the carrier signal being amplitude modulated at 49, Fig. 9, with a signal, Fig. 6E, made by delaying at 50, Fig. 9, the output signal, Fig. 6D, from the detector circuit by the time # 0 , and the amplitude modulated carrier signal is subtracted at 41, Fig. 9, from the said amplitude modulated signal.
