Abstract

PURPOSE:To receive a pilot signal stably, by extracting a pilot signal to make AFC operation and controlling an AGC circuit with this extracted output. CONSTITUTION:An SSB signal including a pilot signal (suppressed carried wave) received at an antenna ANT is demodulated with a signal from a carrier oscillator 7 at a balanced demodulator 6 via a mixer 2, an IF filter 4, and an IF amplifier 5 and given to a speaker SP via a wave divider 8 and an audio amplifier 9. On the other hand, a pilot signal separated at the wave divider 8 is phase-compared at a phase comparator 12 with the output of a reference oscillator 11 and fed back to a local oscillator 3 via an LPF13 as an AFC voltage and amplified at a linear amplifier 16 and detected at a detector 14. After it is DC-amplified at a DC amplifier 15, it is applied to an RF amplifier 1 and an IF amplifier 5 as an AGC voltage.
