Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a wind mill and increase its output by supporting the casing equipped with a weather vane on the shaft of a vertical shaft type wind mill and allowing the wind inlet port to be alighed always in perpendicular direction to the wind and allowing the blowing-in wind to energize each rotor blade at the inlet port side and the exit port side.
CONSTITUTION: The casing 1 is arranged by supporting it rotatably on the rotary shaft 2 of a vertical shaft type wind mill, and a weather vane 5 is fixed on the casing 1. Consequently, the wind inlet port on the casing 1 is always held in perpendicular direction to the wind. The wind blowing-in from the wind inlet port is pressurized in the course from the inlet port side point A to point B, and energizes a rotor blade 3 with rotational force, and also energizes the blade 3 in the direction of revolution at the point C in the course to the exit port side through the vicinity of the rotary shaft 2 and goes to the point D. Therefore, the offset force between the opposite blades of the rotor is removed to generate energizing forces, and the total efficiency and output can be improved.
