Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove extraneous materials such as branched grains, immature grains, straw scraps, dust and the like by providing a grain distributing plate in the screening wind passage provided in the lower stream part of a grain conveying trough, and providing a blast port for a blower before this distributing plate. CONSTITUTION:Samples flowing down from a grain tank 25 into a conveying trough 6 are flowed down from the end of the trough into a moisture content measuring vessel 11 by the effect of a vibrator 5. A blast port 13 of a blower 14 is provided in the screening wind passage 9 between these, so that the air on the outside of the machine is sucked through a wind supply port 29, and the stable wind having directivity is ejected from the port 13 to the direction of a grain distributing plate 10 via a blast wind passage 7. The unhulled rice sized by pneumatic elutriation falls onto the front wall surface 10A of the plate 10, skids on the plate surface, and accumulates in the vessel 11, where it is measured by a sensor 16. On the other hand, the immature grains and the branched grains flow down into a lower discharge passage 12 from the rear wall surface 10B of the plate 10, and dust and straw scraps are discharged to the outside of the machine through a wind exhaust window 8.
