Abstract

PURPOSE: To flow continuously a predetermined amount of grain through a chute by providing a rotary type transfer conveyer in a corn feeder of a color discriminator.
CONSTITUTION: When a grain differing in color are dumped into a supply hopper 3, the grain overflows from a lower outlet 15 of the hopper to the upper side belt surface, flows into a chute 4 through a discharge chute 16 for regulating a predetermined amount of the grain according to an opening of the chute 16 and slides along a grain flowing surface 17 into a photoelectric discriminating chamber 8. In the discriminating chamber, a photocell 5 receives light rays reflected from the grain differing in color to generate detecting signals by which blast from an injection nozzle 7 blasts selectively grains differing in color out of the flow track. The blasted grain drops from an outlet 10 and the grain flowing along the flow track flows into a corn collecting tube 11 as it is.
