Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a highly accurate value of the moisture content excluding foreign substance such as waste straw, unripe grain etc., by equipping with a flow board of grain on the wind passage of selection provided on the lower part of transportation conduit of grain. CONSTITUTION:A sample unhulled rice flowing to the grain transportation conduit 6 from the tank 29 through the flow passage 31, flows in the moisture measuring vessel 14 from the end of the conduit 6 by vibrating action. Outside air is supplied from the air feeding window 7 to the air absorbing window 8 by the blower 11 during flow down and an air elutriation is performed by blowing off unripe grain of the sample unhulled rice. Even-grained unhulled rice eluriated by air falls on the wall face 9A of the conical flow board 9 and flows to the vessel for moisture measurement 14. On the one hand, unripe grains and aristate grains fall on the wall face 9B of the conical flow board 9 and are discharged from the discharge passage 15. Also, waste straw, dust etc. are inhaled to the window 8 and are discharged to the cyclone 10. By such a treatment, carefully selected even-grained unhulled rice is exclusively accumulated in the vessel 14 and the value of moisture content is measured by the sensor 17. Also, the weight of grain is detected by the detecting part 25 and the value of moisture content corrected by weight measurement is obtained.
