Abstract

PURPOSE: To have an accurate change-over a rotary body from regular to inverted rotation and vice versa by providing a reversible mechanism with simple construction using a spring clutch.
CONSTITUTION: When a solenoid 42 is energized and a stopper 40 stops a ratchet wheel 33, a clutch 31 is contracted owing to the clutch receptacle 30 going to stop through a friction plate 32 and tied around the outside surface of a drum 28 and coupling 27. As a result, rotation of the input gear 37 is transmitted to a shaft 22 together with the spring clutch receptacle 30 through gear 26, coupling 27, spring clutch 31 and drum 28 to rotate the driving gear 18 in the direction of the arrow A through a forward driving gear 20. When the solenoid 42 is deenergized, stopper 40 stops the ratchet wheel 33' and the rotation of gear 37 is transmistted to the gear 26 and shaft 22' according to the same action as mentioned above to rotate the driving gear 18 in the direction of the arrow B through gears 21, 20.
