Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the hot-water panel at a reduced production cost which is prominent in the heat collecting characteristic by a method wherein a pair of convex-concavo or corrugated plates are opposed with a space therebetween, in which sealed chambers are defined, and thus obtained hollow panel is connected and communicated with each other in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of convex-concavo or corrugated plates 1 of an appropriate dimension are supported and opposed by supporter 2 with a space therebetween to form the sealed-up hollow panel. The hollow panel has ribs 3 on both sides. The rib 3 is provided with connection pipes 4 and 5, through which the hollow panels can be connected and communicated by a desired number in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Thus, a hot-water panel of a desired size can be obtained. The use of the convex-concavo or corrugated panels enables an enlargement of the surface area thereof, which contributes in an improvement in the solar energy collecting efficiency and in the strength of the panel though a thin plate is used as material.
