Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a heat recovering rate to attain an increase of an output power of a low boiling point medium turbine plant which employs the ground temperature or waste heat of a factory as a heat source therefor by constituting the turbine plant such that steam of turbine operating medium can be generated in a supercritical pressure region.
CONSTITUTION: Ground temperature watr, for example, at the temperature of 140°C is taken in as a high temperature heat source and exchanges heat in a once-through boiler 22 with operating fluid such as refrigerant R12 (Freon) whereupon the refrigerant is heated by the hot water whereafter it is heated again by hot water in a reheater 23. In the meantime, the refrigerant which has been discharged from the once-through boiler 22 is decompressed to be expanded by means of a pressure reducing valve 18 to a pressure at which a humid region is not entered even if the refrigerant is expanded, and thereafter the refrigerant is heated in the reheater 23 and is converted into supercritical pressure fluid thereby. After a high pressure turbine 10 is driven by this supercritical pressure fluid, the fluid is liquified by cooling water in a condenser 12 and then if pressurized by a pump 5 whereafter it is introduced to the boiler 1 again. The pump 5 is controlled by a controller 17 depending upon the temperature of the hot water.
