Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify and standardize a hardware constitution, by providing an operating circuit for correcting so that the product which is derived by multiplying a reciprocal of a divisor B by a coefficient kO is converged to a constant value, and the first and second multipliers for multiplying a divident A and a reciprocal of the coefficient kO. CONSTITUTION:When deriving the quotient H by dividing a divident A by a divisor B, the divisor B is inputted to a kO/B operating circuit 1. The circuit 1 executes an asymptotic operation by multiplying a reciprocal of the divisor B by a coefficient kO, and correcting so that said product is converged to a constant value. An output of the circuit 1 is multiplied by the divident A by a multiplfier 2, its result is multiplied by a reciprocal 1/kO of the coefficient kO by a multipler 3, and the quotient H is outputted. In this way, an operation of division is processed as multiplication by use of a multiplier without requiring a special hardware, and the hardware constituion is simplified and standardized.
