Abstract

PURPOSE:To set an initial position simply at a time when a belt is just put on by making an output voltage, which is outputted from a position detecting sensor at said time, to a reference voltage, then making this value to be set automatically. CONSTITUTION:When a belt is mounted, first of all, a DC output corresponding to a position of a side edge of the belt is outputted from a position detecting sensor 20 constituted of a differetial transformer, and others. This DC output is inputted to a differntial amplifier 21 and a setting circuit 22 of the initial value. The differential amplifier 21 compares the output voltage transmitted from the sensor 20, during the rotation of the belt which is corresponding to the position of the edge of the belt, with an output voltage from the circuit 22, and transmitting a differential output between these voltages to a motor controlling circuit 23, while the belt is circulating. The circuit 23 so controlls a servomotor 24 as corresponding to the differntial output, thereby a zigzag movement of the belt is corrected.
