Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the heat collecting efficiency and to simplify the structure of the captioned solar heat boiler by a method wherein an air pump is arranged in a solar heat collecting circuit and a heat medium is supplied under pressure to a heat accumulation tank and is injected into a heat accumulating medium as air bubbles.
CONSTITUTION: The heat accumulation tank 5 contains water as the heat accumulating medium and the outer surface of the tank is covered with a heat insulating material 6. The heat accumulation tank 5 is provided at the inner bottom surface thereof with an air bubble nozzle section 7 communicating with an air outlet 3 so that air (as the heat medium) supplied under pressure into the heat accumulation tank 5 produces a number of air bubbles when it passes through the water in the tank. With the above structure, when the air heated by the solar heat collector 1 is supplied into the tank 5 from the air bubble nozzle section through the air outlet 3 by means of the air pump 4, while a large number of air bubbles are produced and gather together in an air tank A provided at the upper section of the tank 5 so as to circulate through the solar heat collector 1 via an air return valve 2. The above structure has advantages that because the air acts as the heat medium, there is no fear of freezing and further, as the sectional area of heat transfer of the air bubbles as a whole is large, the heat collecting efficiency of the captioned solar heat boiler can be improved.
