Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the thickness dimension of the entire part equal to the axial dimension of the main body to thin the entire part by forming the main body of the heat exchanger into a double cylindrical shape and arranging exhaust and suction fans on the inner side of the inner cylindrical wall. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchange main body 10 is formed into a double cylindrical shape consisting of an inner cylindrical wall 11 and an outer cylindrical wall 12, and partitioned by a heat exchange chamber 13 to form first and second ventilating ducts 14 and 15. First and second inlet ports 16 and 18 are provided in the inner cylindrical wall 11 and other ports 17 and 19 are provided in the outer cylindrical wall 12. Then, exhaust and suction fans 23 and 24 are arranged on the inner side of both ends of the inner cylindrical wall 11, and fitted in both ends of a rotary shaft 22a of a motor 22. By this procedure, the thickness dimension of the entire part of the ventilating device becomes substantially equal to the axial dimension of the heat exchanger main body 10, and hence the thickness dimension of the entire device can be reduced.
