Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce thickness of the body of an air conditioner, by disposing two fans and mating air outlet ports respectively on the both sides of a heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: The air conditioner shown in the drawing is formed with an air inlet port 3 and two air outlet ports 2a, 2b located on the opposite sides of the air inlet port 3. In the body 1 of this air conditioner, there are provided a heat exchanger 4 and two fans 5a, 5b located on the opposite sides of the said heat exchanger 4 and having respectively an independent air passage consisting of the air inlet port 3 and air outlet ports 2a, 2b. Further, in the casing for the fans 5a, 5, there is provided a guider 9 extending axially of fans 5a, 5b and located between them. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to reduce thickness of the body 1 of air conditioner since diameters of fans 5a, 5b can be rendered small. At the same time, since the above guider 9 is arranged to be movable, load acted to fans 5a, 5b can be changed in a desired manner.
