Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent dewing of air conditioner, by employing an arrangement in which an upper heat exchanger is disposed in a single row to associate with a turbo fan and lower heat exchangers are disposed in two rows to associate with a lateral- flow fan.
CONSTITUTION: In the main body of unit 1 having a suction port 1a at its central portion and outlet ports 1b, 1c at its upper and lower portions, in which a short, auxiliary indoor heat exchanger 4 is disposed between a long indoor heat exchanger 3 and four-way valve 2 in the manner that the short heat exchanger 4 is located side by side along the lower half of the long heat exchanger 3, the short, auxiliary indoor heat exchanger 4 is placed on the downstream side of the long indoor heat exchanger 3, in the manner that the upper half of heat exchanger 3 is extended in a single row on the upstream side while the lower half of heat exchanger 3 and indoor auxiliary heat exchanger 4 are placed in two rows on the downstream side in unit 1. Further, a turbo fan 10 is disposed at the back of the upper half of heat exchanger 3 and a lateral-flow fan 9 is disposed to associate with the indoor auxiliary exchanger 4. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to solve the problem of dewing in air conditioner.
