Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the size of a heat exchange apparatus as a whole, and to reduce the cost for the manufacture, by arranging helically blades on inner and outer circumferential surfaces of a cylindrical wall for heat exchange so that when a heat exchanger is rotated, both the inner and outer blades work blowing action. CONSTITUTION:Inner blades 10 and outer blades 11 are helically arranged on the inner and outer circumferential surfaces of a heat exchanging cylindrical wall 9 of the heat exchanger 8 respectively with the helical directions of blades 10, 11 being inverted with respect to each other. When the heat exchanger 8 is rotated by a motor 12, the inner and outer blades 10, 11 of the heat exchanger 8 work blowing action. Due to the blowing action of the inner blades 10, air from the outside B is sucked via a suction port 6 of an outer casing 3 into the heat exchanging cylindrical wall 9 of the heat exchanger 8, and is discharged along a partition 13 via an outlet into a room A. Due to the blowing action of the outer blades 11, air in the room A is sucked via a suction port 4 into an outer casing 3, is allowed to flow along the outer surface of the heat exchanging cylindrical wall 9, and is discharged via an outlet 5 of the outer casing 3 into the outside B.
