Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an easily manufacturable, highly accurate ink jet head by providing a flat plate cover on an ink pathway consisting of a hardened photosensitive resin composition film formed on a base plate through an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A hardened photo resisto film (photosensitive resin composition) 5P is bonded on a patterned ink discharge pressure generating element 2, an insulating thin film 3, and a resin adhesive layer 4, provided on the surface of a base plate 1, and a flat plate cover 8 is adhered to the upside of the hardened photo resisto film 5P to form an ink jet head. In such a head, a photo resisto layer 5 provided on the adhesive layer 4 is exposed to light through a photo mask 6 to form a hardened film 5P, the unexposed parts (except for the hardened film 5P) and the subordinare adhesive layer 4 are removed, and then the flat plate cover 8 is attached to the hardened film 5P.
