Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to make cylindrical furnace type hot water boiler of diffierent capacity easily, by making a suitable number of vertically combined valve units of an identical shape and constitution into combustion chamber having height corresponding to a number of baffles and an identical diameter. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical furnace type heat exchanger 1 is constituted by expanding the upper part of an inner shell 2 and contracting the lower part of an outer shell 3, a combustion chamber 10 is formed by providing a baffle unit 9 inside the inner shell 2 and a burner 11 is made to face on the combustion chamber. One or more baffle units 9 (one in the drawing) of an identical shape and constitution are made vertical and combineable in series, and capacity of hot water supply is controlled by changing only a length of the heat exchanger 1 and capacity of the burner 11 according to a number of the baffle unit.
