Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the executing speed of user's instruction for a data processor, by providing a microprogram storage circuit with a small and large capacity for the inside and outside of the data processor separately. CONSTITUTION:After the user's instruction is fetched, the 1st microinstruction of an execution routine is instantly read out from a microprogram storage circuit 22 at the inside of a data processor 20. During the execution of the 1st microinstruction read out, the end microinstruction is read out from a microprogram storage circuit 3 at the outside of the data processor 20 and set to a register 23 at the inside of the data processor 20. Thus, the executing speed to the 1st and 2nd microinstruction can especially be increased remarkably.
