Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a titled magnet under eased production conditions by adding Fe-Ni alloy powder contg. a specific amt. of Ni as a part or the whole of a required amt. of an Ni source, and mixing, molding and sintering these. CONSTITUTION:Fe-Ni alloy powder consiting of 18-80% contents of Ni, or if necessary, Fe-Ni-Cu alloy powder contg. 18-80% Ni and <=12% Cu wherein part of 18-80% Ni is substituted with Cu is added as a required amt. of an Ni source or as a part or the whole of the Ni source and a Cu source. Said alloy powder as well as other metallic Co powder, metallic Cu powder, metallic Ti powder, metallic Fe powder, etc. are sufficient if they are of about -100 meshes. These powders are added, mixed, molded and sintered. Then, the sintered Alnico magnet of superior magnetic characteristics is obtained under eased sintering conditions.
