Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a good start characteristic of an engine even if poor quality fuel or alcohol fuel is used in a main fuel injection device, by detecting temperature of the engine and supplying fuel from an auxiliary fuel injection mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Poor quality fuel and alcohol fuel are used in a main fuel injection device, while high volatile fuel is used in an auxiliary fuel injection device. An ignition switch 12 and starter switch 14 are turned on, when an engine is at low temperature, a time switch 26 is closed, and an auxiliary injection valve 30 and pump 32 are applied with power to supply auxiliary fuel. Temperature of the engine rises, if a time switch 28 opens, the auxiliary fuel is stopped its supply. In this way, even if poor quality fuel or alcohol fuel is used, a good start characteristic of the engine can be obtained.
