Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent wasting of a power supply by increasing/decreasing a supplied energy from a spark ignition power supply circuit at a command whether a plasma ignition should be provided or stopped or a plasma ignition energy should be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A command signal whether a plasma ignition should be ''on'' or ''off'' from a plasma ignition decision circuit 12 is transmitted to a full-transistor ignitor 11 for a spark ignition power supply circuit through a signal line 13 and a supplied energy from a power supply circuit 7 is reduced at ''on'' signal from the signal line 13. That is, it is a device added with diodes D4, D5, a constant current power supply 15 and a relay switch operated at a command signal from the circuit 12 to the ignitor 11 anew. As a result, it is possible to open a relay switch 16 during a plasma ignition and put in ''on'' position the relay switch 16 during a nonplasma ignition and also apply the power supply 15 to a base terminal (b) through the intermediary of the diode D5.
