PURPOSE:To make easier the chipping work of the pile head by a method in which a liquid layer is provided on the upside of an uncured concrete, and air is jetted into the head portion of the concrete pile in such a way that the concrete portion is separated into sand layer, gravel layer, and cement layer by the disturbance. CONSTITUTION:Iron bars 3 are driven into a pile hole 2, and concrete 4 is placed in the pile hole so as to form a banking 6 about 1m higher than the design height 5 of the pile. Then, water 7 is charged onto the concrete and stagnated there, and while the concrete 4 is in an uncured state, the pipe 9 of an air blower 8 is penetrated into the pile hole 2 and its lower part is buried in the concrete 4. Then, compressed air is jetted from the lower end nozzle 10 of the pipe 9 and collided against a reflecting plate 11 for diffusion. When the disturbance of concrete components and water by means of the compressed air is stabilyzed, the concrete component is separated into a gravel layer 6a, a sand layer 6b, and a cement layer 6c. After treating the excess banking portion 6, the head portion of the hardened concrete pile is exposed by pit excavation and then chipped.
